A knife or other cutting instrument was used in an aggravated assault in the early afternoon on a Monday. The assault occurred at an unidentified location near 1600 E. 55th St. No one has been arrested.

Robbery on Drexel Avenue
July 5, 3:55 p.m.
A handgun was used in an armed robbery near 5200 S. Drexel Avenue. The crime occurred in an alley in the mid-afternoon on a Tuesday. No arrests have been made.

Robbery near U of C

An armed robbery took place in an alley on the 5700 block of South Woodlawn Avenue on a Wednesday morning. A handgun was used. No arrests.

Motor vehicle theft on University Avenue

An automobile on the University of Chicago campus was stolen on a Saturday afternoon. The vehicle was located on the street on the 5800 block of South University Avenue. No arrests.
