Hirsch and Associates, LLC, a River North-based architecture, planning and design firm, announced on its Facebook page today that the former Border’s Books at the Clark, Broadway and Diversey intersection will be converted into a Walgreen’s. According to the post, the  new, two-story, Wellness Experience store, is a new concept that will be larger and have many more features than a typical Walgreen’s store. The post also said Hirsch Associates has begun the construction documents for the core and shell portion of the project.
